About NMA

The Nanaimo Motocross Association is a non-profit organization that operates on a combination of membership dues, sponsorship contributions and donations. The association was formed 30 years ago and is entirely volunteer run. Our members range from as young as four years old all the way up to 50plus, and includes both men and women. Each year NMA hosts VIMX Series races in addition to three other island tracks. This includes Port Alberni, Campbell River, and TriPort. Nanaimo has hosted rounds of the Canadian Pro National Championships and we are proud to have it regularly described by the national riders, promoters and the media as one of the best and most challenging tracks in Canada.  Our Wastelands Motocross Park is open year round for riders to practice casually or train for the race season. This is truly a family sport and we are proud to have this fantastic world class facility locally here on Vancouver Island.

In addition to the VIMX races, NMA hosts many different events throughout the year. Some of these include Club Races, MX Schools, Red Rider events, Tuesday Night Kids Rides, RC events and Enduro Events.
