Where is the track and how do I get to the track?
The Wastelands Motorcross Track is in Nanaimo off Jingle Pot Road, onto Biggs Road which turns into Weigles Road. See Track Information for further information.
When is the track open?
The track is generally open during daylight hours 7 days a week, 365 days per year except during track maintenance and work parties. Any closure dates/times will be posted on this site.
How do I join and how much does it cost?
You can join the club as a single individual or family membership. The club also supports reduced associate memberships for members of other Island motocross associations. See Membership for further information.
Do you have any training available
The club plans to offer motocross training sessions during the Spring and Fall this year for a variety of rider levels. See the Event Calendar for further information in the future.
What are the different classes?
The following are the various race classes generally run under CMRC on the Island race series. GP is any bike size, MX1 is 250cc 2 strokes or 450cc 4 strokes, MX2 is 125cc 2 strokes or 250cc 4 strokes.

When and where are the races?
The Island Series runs 10 races in the Spring and 10 in the Fall. Generally each of the 5 tracks hosts 2 of the 10 races. See the Event Calendar for further information on the Island Series races and other club, Island, BC and general motocross events.
